What Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation 3 is
It is a free online team battle: you pilot mobile suits, step out as infantry for objectives, and meet other players in Base Camp between sorties.
Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation 3 is an online team battle built around mobile suits from the Gundam series. You are not locked in the cockpit for the whole match. The store text and the system page split the fight into the suit, the infantry, and the camp you return to.

Three layers
| Layer | What you do with it |
|---|---|
| Mobile suit | Team fights. Each suit has its own arsenal: long range, close range, and skills that swing a fight. |
| Infantry | Leave the cockpit. Plant a bomb on a base, call support fire, and take battlefield objectives. |
| Base Camp | The hub between sorties. Meet other mercenaries before the next launch. |
SP Skills are the new lever the system page names: you use them, with the suit and the infantry, to turn a fight. The page does not publish cooldowns, costs, or a skill list. Those numbers are not on the Steam page either, so they are not repeated here.
How a match is framed
Sorties are large team fights. Composition matters because the suits are not interchangeable: one kit is the long gun, another is the close fight, and skills are the swing. The store text calls that tactical online team combat. It does not publish team sizes for the full game. The spec table's player count is 1-18, which is the room size, not a promise that every match is 18 people. The closed test is more specific: rating matches up to 6v6, and a custom match on 22 Nov up to 9v9. Those numbers live on the network test page.
Boots on the ground
The people who get out often decide the match. The store text names three infantry jobs: plant a base bomb, request support fire, and secure objectives on foot. That is the whole published infantry kit. There is no control list, no bomb timer, and no class tree. If you are coming from Battle Operation 2, treat this as the same idea restated for the new game, not as a stat transfer.
Base Camp
Between operations you return to Base Camp. The store text calls it the place you meet players from elsewhere and get ready for the next sortie. It is a hub, not a mode with a published rule set. The closed test also has a cross-play lobby; that is a test feature, listed on the network test page, not a full description of Base Camp.
What stays off this page
No cost table, no weapon figures, no map callouts for the full game. The two maps named so far belong to the closed test: a desert area and a port city. Platforms, the 1-18 count, and the language list are on Platforms. The date is on Release date.
